FINE ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
We have produced theatrical presentations for two decades. These presentations fall into two categories: new productions of classic Broadway musicals and the creation of new musicals shows and reviews.
In the 1990s we presented four Broadway classics, often working with the original stars and/or directors. Two of the most exciting were Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair, both under the direction of Tom O’Horgan, the man who introduced them to Broadway. We also presented Sweet Charity under the direction of Grover Dale and I Do I Do under the direction of Marge Champion.
In 2000 we established a resident theater company aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 and created five new shows and one revival for that ship. The revival, the legendary chestnut, Enter the Guardsman, was presented simultaneously aboard the QE2 and Off-Broadway, the first time this had ever been done. The five original shows were The Wonderful Words of Sammy Cahn, in conjunction with the Estate of Mr. Cahn, Can’t Stop The Music, The Game Of Love, Hooray For Hollywood, and The Hit Parade.
